Install SkipTheFee

SkipTheFee is in early access. Install it directly in Chrome in under 60 seconds. We're submitting to the Chrome Web Store soon — for now, use Developer Mode.

Download the extension

Unzip the file

Extract the downloaded ZIP file. You'll get a folder called 'skipthefee-extension'.

Open Chrome Extensions

In Chrome, go to chrome://extensions

Or: Chrome menu → Extensions → Manage Extensions

Enable Developer Mode

Toggle the 'Developer mode' switch in the top-right corner of the Extensions page.

Click "Load unpacked"

Click the 'Load unpacked' button that appears, then select the unzipped folder.

You're set! 🎉

Browse DoorDash, Uber Eats, or Grubhub. SkipTheFee will automatically detect your cart and show you cheaper options.

Pro tip: Pin SkipTheFee to your toolbar for easy access. Click the puzzle piece icon (🧩) in Chrome and pin SkipTheFee.

⚙️ Settings

After installation, right-click the SkipTheFee icon and select "Options" to set your city:

  • Austin, TX — Default
  • Washington, DC — Select if you're in the DC metro area
